Sean Dylan receives a strange text message from CSIS agent Stan Bennett who was in Haiti during a massive earthquake. Fearing the worst, Dylan flies to the ravaged country in search of his best friend. A rescue worker puts Dylan in touch with the Operations Center in Miami where Ryan Mitchell, a young computer specialist has devised a system to trace cell phone calls and text messages.

While searching for the origin of Bennett’s call, Mitchell comes across some classified CIA messages outlining an upcoming operation that will trigger a reaction by a country with nuclear capability, taking the world ever closer to all-out war. With no one to turn to, Mitchell confides in Dylan and asks for help.

Dylan journeys through an Internet maze as he enters into the fast paced world of social networking, computer hacking and clandestine meetings. He soon learns that in the modern world of social media, you are not always sure who you are talking to ... even when you are face to face with them.

Sean Dylan and his former Special Forces partner Ozzy Bauer follow leads that take them from Miami to Chicago and on to Ireland where they battle against time to prevent an assassination by a mysterious CIA hit woman, a woman Dylan had met previously under much friendlier circumstances.
