
As the former President of the British Columbia Motion Picture Academy, a director of both the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and the Canadian Radio and Television Association in Toronto, H. J. Cole is an experienced writer/producer of television and motion pictures. With over a hundred television programs and three full-length feature films to his credit, H. J. Cole has garnered international experience at such foreign film markets as the Cannes Film Festival and the American Film Market. He has written many feature-length screenplays and a variety of scripts for other productions.
In the 1970's, H. J. Cole won a prestigious CLIO Award and the New York Film Festival Award for excellence in advertising while working with the McCann-Erickson Advertising agency.
H. J. Cole is a former Canadian National Parachuting Champion (1967/8), and excelled in competition as a member of the Canada Team in many world venues. He is also an accomplished sailor and former race car driver.
As an author, H. J. Cole relies on personal experience and knowledge in the creation of his novels.
